Words
Unleashed minutes
That left years
Undone
And
Now bleed
Failing
Thoughts
To stain
Tomorrow

Ah, the power of words:  the bitter aftertaste of food for thought...

Wish I'd written this.

Lord knows I've lived it.

I just replied to Mark's poem with the words "Food for thought"  and then I read your poem and Mark's reply to you using the same words! Uncanny! ---and those words do apply to your poem as well!

Peace, Love, & Light,

Shucks! I don't know how you people do this.
Me? I can't write without being verbose.

But, there are soooo many words!

Words pale
when left
unspoken ... unwritten.

Words fail
to tell true
all I feel.

Words alone
wont do this
justice.

Hmmmmmm. I like what Janet said. But, I just want to be quiet and think about this and the title.

(big hugggsssssss) Some words do that, words should never be put over a skewer or freeze-dried by any means necessary, that's just my opinion but I feel a valid one surely! (sad sigh) May the words of comfort be a tourniquet to nurse the wounds, dearest friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Ron, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

Words ...
staining the page
speaking the rage
setting the stage.

Words ...
too little ... too late
sealing (or stealing) fate.

Ron,
you are so good with words and writing about words..this reminds me of your submission "Failing Words" for Reflections...

took me some time to digest this but i like what i got from this..well worth the time pondering..

this one kinda "hurts where it counts", so to speak.  Makes me think...

Amazing how you can make or break the best and worst of things with words...

*sigh*...just thinking.
