Sand storm

Driven by the wind
Choking the sight from the land
It favors no one

Tanks

Lumbering monsters
Heavy metal dinosaurs
make the earth rumble

Cruise missles

Flying low and fast
quided by electronic brains
unstopable death

Stealth planes

Like ghostly shadows
deadly moths dropping smart death
The new birds of prey

Ground troops

Soft against hard death
They are the ones who will bleed
war never changes

paladin

....a knight without armor

(tears fall down my cheeks) And more balkanization will just keep occuring until we end war and finally enact a movement to peace! (sad sigh) Certainly war will free no one, this is so very painfully said, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Robert, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

It's good to read your words again, Paladin. You always find the true coffin nails, and cut through the layers of romantic war bull.

Just heard tonight that the Brits lost to the Turks in WWI, in a region where a clash is likely between Iraqi regulars and coalition forces...and so the saga of intermittent crises continues...all the name of 'peace' nonetheless.

Robert, not to be repetative of others who have responded, but sadly, 'war never changes.'

And this one in Iraq is against an enemy that doesn't play fair.

Hugs for peace.  Marti
