In Your Poetic Mind

    {And that night, when it stopped raining}

The sea spread           her waves
having already felt  space of tears

the sun took back it's                    veil:

your reflection looks older in shades
of bl
ue
                     {kissing your palms}
ready to fall        evening  pitches    another hue

each fade while inside your heart,
shimmers              soft drops;

"good times"

I hear you say "I'm tired darlin"
laughing      (only)
two stops south     and summer   arrives
     what did that mean?

I failed to   completely comprehend
       the idea of such art
could alter         anything

  moments of time
moments of such language --

including this        --  could

kiss me in forms      of water

I close my eyes and there in the shadows I see your light
You come to me out of my dreams
Across the night

Greeneyes - I sit here and read this verse, and then come to reply and I'm at a loss for words to say. As always...

This is a beautiful painting with your words. I could see each verse as you described it. Very beautiful.

Gotta love those Greeneyes moments. I sure do!

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.

You're talking my language Lauren...

You rock the sea so gently
beneath the waves of emerald green
then turn the tides to shades of blue
and brush them back again.

Dang~ So pretty you are~
