Of believing
Prayers seeking
To make a difference

A lost soul
Black and blue
Bruised pride
Harpooned

Crawling
Scraping nails
Digging faith
Our Father’s

Stepped on
Lost child
Too old
To cry anymore

An American dream
Imprisoned within
A war within
Never won

A billion to one
Trillion to nothing
A star seeking
Illumination

A glimmer
That will never
Die
Within a weak heart

Survivability
A lonely path
Briars
Thorns of determination

Words
Destroying
Building
Roller coaster

Devotion
Existing
In nothing
But thin air

In the miracle
Of believing
Believing
Just believing

In the miracle
Of a common man
With words
Whispering

In the miracle
Of peace
Fifteen doves
Flying free

In the miracle
The miracle
Miracle
Mir

Thought: In the best miracle of all, our Maker sees us as an individual having their own space to fly free from.

This one has a wonderful weight, but you essentially doomed it from being published by submitting so many poems. Which is a shame, because I love it.

(smiles) Yes, true freedom is a miracle, and the best freedom as where we all unite but not all conform, that is, we all embrace one anothers differences and not try to make everyone uniform!
