Listening to every heart

0 posted 2003-03-25 02:01 PM

Silence
Halting the heart
With briefest nod to grief
As knuckled grip seems to loosen
Bared cold chill clutches, strangling voice once more
Stumbling in tracks of salty tears
Traces of words on wind
Filling one with
Silence

You are a master (or are you a mistress?) at writing in poetic forms----and at writing poetry without any form or structure, as well...

Karilea - I sat in silence to-day in my backyard. It is amazing how we take our senses for granted. Lovely write. Chris

Ahhhh the touch of a maestro?  maestriss?
Ms. maestro?  Madame maestress? Whichever applies can't hide the true beauty of your writing. How very exquisite.  KJ

Karilea--sometimes silence is more profoud than words.

Extremely powerful and excellent poetry.  I enjoyed the read.

Hugs my dear.
The empty out demands the time to recharge.
Ah, but what wonder in the silence.
