Betrayed by one close to me
a friend not a foe
a brother not a demon

One who has sat at my table
and shared meals with me
he has played with my children
laughed when I laughed

Cried when my tears have flowed
the back that carried his burden in his time of needs
now is stabbed to the hilt

Who is this Brutus?
Who can he be that stands
with blood stained hands

He is my friend and I am the better man
for I forgive him for what has occurred
from this once trusted companion

I will not throw the first stone at him
for I have to many aimed at my own home
so again I say he is forgiven in the end

(big hugggsssssss) Forgiveness is always the right thing to do, while he may be deceiving and cruel in some ways, forgiveness and turning the other cheek is what keeps the peace and sinew in place! (sad sigh) This is well-said, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet friend, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

Takes a strong man to forgive..needless to say I'm weak. Actually that's not true, I'll allow for a three strike policy but in special cases I'll just ding one off their head
