I wish I could love Like I've never loved before Jump right back into That misty waterfall And be overtaken By the crashing waves And smile Just smile And believe that it will never end. Believe that he's the one No matter what, he has to be! For how could a feeling Such as this Lie? That could not be possible. I miss that constant silly grin Always lying across my face And that skippy, catchy music That seemed to never stop Running through my head. I miss going to sleep wondering If he's thinking of me too And maybe, oh just maybe, He's sure he loves me too? I wish there was some way To bottle the scent Of first love And keep it stowed away For cold and rainy days When I remember That I'll never love Like that Again. I do not know whether I was then a man dreaming I was a butterfly, or whether I am now a butterfly dreaming I am a man. |

I wish there was some way To bottle the scent Of first love Especially loved this part of your write Maybe I can bottle up some scent for you; since i'm still enjoying my first love as time passes slowly. yaknow...I think the same thing lately...I have loved twice in my life, so I guess I just consider myself lucky for that, and not really worry about strike three. |

Oh you will love again, the first is usually never forever. And i agree with Pearl6884, i too ish that all relationships could be so perfect. a life lived unexplored is a life not worth living. |
