To share

To pass the symbols of a thought
Depends upon your care and dwell
The passage is of common wrought
But must include a common gel.

By gel I mean a common store
A store that is of common meat
Meat that needs be chewed no more
But awes within the same heart beat.

First the right felicity
No high or low of tonal swell
Second a light simplicity.
Not beyond the common dwell.

It must include a day and night
Sun and entire shadows crest
Balanced on a scale of right
And fit a common heart at rest.

It is the language of the meek
And that is why I seldom speak.

Good morning, Mr. T. !  This is the angel side of me speaking with you this fine spring morning!

The following lines intrigued me...

"It is the language of the meek
And that is why I seldom speak."

I believe that you are a pussycat with the heart and voice of a lion---You are the proverbial iron fist in the velvet glove...

Have a glorious day, Dear One,
EA

G'Morning Sweet Sy... Folks don't know just how introspective you really are unless they've had the privilege of meeting you... This is wonderful - You really DO have lots to say...

In 2000 I pulled a poem
The Golden Key, to print
it has stayed close by my side
I see many things in it...

Now it seems that 2003
has slipped up on you and me
but your writing is only deeper
so I've printed me another keeper...

Seymour,
I'm here earlier today, and it's good
to see another word of wisdom from you.
This one is a lesson for us, for sure.
Do you mind if I keep it?

Sy, this was excellent. I read this a few times to fully grasp your words, and I love the comparisons you drew. As a result, I do believe I will chew on my words a bit more before speaking ... as each phrase that one utters should indeed be well thought out and worthing of sharing.

Best wishes and hugs to you
/Kit

I know this sounds a bit like an E.F.Hutton commercial. *G* But when you do speak, we listen. *S*

Meat that needs be chewed no more
But awes within the same heart beat.

Could there be a better way to describe the words you share with us? *G* I think not... this is excellent! *S*
