~*~ Across black skies With starlight twinkling, Sweet whispered love Rings thru' the nite, With kisses soft And touching tender, Two lovers hold Each other tight. Moonlight streaming Thru' open shutters, Flickering candles Dance on the walls, Scent of lilacs Fills bed chamber, While deep in woods, A lone wolf calls. Hunger fuels The fires of passion, Hot flames lick Sleek unclad skin, One song they sing As ardor rises, At peak crescendo He enters in... Joined as one, They breathe together, Two loving hearts Now sing one tune, In tight embrace They dream of morrows, While flames grow dim With sinking moon. Then sun appears In golden glory, Stirring them To new refrain, From dying embers The phoenix rises, And lovers love, Yet once again... ~*~ [This message has been edited by Earth Angel (03-25-2003 09:03 AM).] |

Dang, woman! LOL Here I have been shivering all day... our building services department seems to believe that the sun peeking out is an invitation to crank up the air conditioner... and it's tough to type when you're trying to sit on your fingers to keep them warm! LOL Little did I know that all I needed to do was read your poem. LOL This gives shivers of a different variety! LOL Beautiful work! *S* |
