Painful longing

I so wish I could raise
into magical heights
into the sparkling Light,
to soar through space.

The pain in my heart
asks me to stand still,
while the mighty yearning
aches and expands within.

An overwhelming force
brings me near to the edge
of an unbearable sight,
A cry is uttered by my voice.

A craving not known before.
The echo pulsing in waves
the quiet balance breaks,
where, oh God, do I want to go?

A Light explodes in my eyes
and suddenly I clearly realize,
that what I am searching for
is quietly displayed in my soul.

My breath is slowing down,
I find myself filled with calm.
No need to shout to be heard
within me I treasure your words.

I know I should never feel alone,
for you are sealed within my heart
and through your divine love
I always rediscover my way Home.

Love, Margherita

It must be very comforting to be able to look within yourself and find peace and harmony. I envy you, for I can't seem to find that kind of solace these days.

Margherita - this is just lovely - moved me it did - and what a positive attitude in these times  . . .  this - sadly - I still ponder myself:

where, oh God, do I want to go?

Well done, Margherita!
