Waiting, he sat on his curule chair
Wrapped in Tryian purple
Surrounded by his lictors
With axes in thier fasces

And your report,  praetor?
It was as you said it would be
Mesopotamia refuses tribute
I gave them 48 hours to go into exile

As you commanded

The young praetor flinched
He knew what was coming
The great mans tantrums
Were famous

Muster the legions!
We march for the Euphrates
At daybreak, why must they test me Ari?
Why do they force me to force our glory
Upon the entire world, do they not understand power?
For I swear by all that is right
They will know power, they will know fear!
And after they are defeated
As slaves, I will sell every last one of them
To the coke machine

LOL, shaking my head as I envision toy battlefield soldiers marching towards that proverbial cocoa cola machine. BTW, COKE really sucks. (my opinion)
God, how I wish we'd learn not to play this battlefield game anymore.
