(Misguided love)

The love I have for you is stronger then the wind.
Though you say it’s untrue, my heart aches when I’m near you.
Knowing you will forgive is a blessing to ones ears,
Although why should you.
They say time is constant and a healer of the soul,
Then why must we be apart? When two hearts are like one.
I was a fool blinded by your beauty and kindness,
Mistaken by your friendship for love.
I plead and beg with the thoughts in my head,
If given the chance for romance I’d rather be dead.
