To rhyme
All writer’s time
Must focus like a mime
Getting no pay; not e’en a dime
To help pay for the fix you see that I’m
In. Since I cannot earn a dime
With writing, may I mime
To earn my time
sans rhyme?

Through rubble and trouble and dark of night
The yawn of a dawn will hasten the light

Ethel loves these things, and I just can't get them And you're good at them too.

I look and I listen, does not everyone?

You're fun to read kayjay~

I don't even have a dime to rhyme
or a spare to make it worth my while.

So I gloat and pout in equal measures.

No doubt, she's going to love this~

  Yippee!!

Thank you, Ken!!! I LOVE  this!!
Now, if I could just learn
to rhyme like you do, I
might have these little rictameters
just right!!!!  LOL

Heart Hugs,
Ethel

Wind and
Blues Serenade
You two were very right
Our heroine loves rictameter
For that I'm pleased that I could pen a bit
of fun to put a smile in place
of one who writes so well
She often makes
Mine smell

Through rubble and trouble and dark of night
The yawn of a dawn will hasten the light

Thinking
rictameter
is not always easy
syllables can be the answer
two four six eight ten eight six four two, then
there are certain rules to follow
like starting at the top
then dropping down
thinking

Hmmmmm, Ken....your poetry always smells
good to me. Like sweet smelling
flowers. Roses, maybe?

(smiles) Yay!!! Oh Ken, this is gorgeous, sweet friend, love that rhyme, certainly can't mime that rhyme but I can get some needle and twine and stitch it with wine! (big hugggsssssss) This is marvelous, sweet friend, love it and can tell Ethel loved it so very much, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Ken, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Enjoyed your rictameter! --after reading Sunshine's explanatory rictameter, I have a better understanding of what one is! I may even have a go at it---sometime!

Peace & Love,
EA
