Cold that is what I was feeling
a chill running across my flesh
as you spoke those words to me
Freezing me there in shock
I would never have guessed the emotions hiding inside
shaking begins at my soul
trembling to my bones
I try to speak to you but it is as if no one is home
I stand here in this frozen space wondering
What went wrong?
Where is the love that was supposed to stay strong?
No warmth just frigid temperatures as they drop
leaving me to wonder if its time to fly south
because winter has come to this house

It always comes as such a shock. Then with me? I just get angry at myself for even being surprised that I'm surprised...

Yes, it's COLD...and a frozen moment in time.

I do hope this wasn't from experience, my friend.

Be well.

(big hugggsssssss) This is such a heartfelt write, sweet friend, I send angel hugs your way and hope this no longer applies to you! (sigh) Well-said, dearest friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Thomas, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!
