somebody's dungeon

Can you come with pad and pen
to bring me back remember when,
back to the time of innocence
can you come, must I insist?

Bring me words of soft embrace
of lovers hands that slowly trace,
bring me this and solace too,
must I scream and plead of you?

Paint for me a picture show
of laughter and a hug, you know.
I'm put upon with drops of pain
I'm dying in this acid rain.

Can you use your words of power
return to life defiled flower,
have you the skill to please undo,
wow me now, write thoughts anew.

Thank you inkedgoddess, I appreciate your comments, from one New Yorker to another

Now I'm just a displaced yankee in the south
