Her Time Had Come . . . . . . .(For you, Dear Lyra) |

The time had come for her Light to shine even more brightly... Her tormented wakefulness had given way to death's peaceful sleep where beautiful dreams become one's reality. In this blissful state of freedom, her spirit rises up from its earth-bound self, to assume whatever carefree form she may so desire. Gone are the furrowed brow, the pressed lips. The deeply etched lines of pain have relaxed and the smile of an angel now appears upon her sweet face. She is going back to her home among the stars from whence she came ...God speed, Dear One. Ethel ~ I have been reading all the beautiful tributes that have been written for her and my eyes are in a perpetual state of weepiness. As a nurse, I have held the hands of many as they have crossed over. The peace that comes over them at the moment of death is a divine thing to behold. Peace & Light, Linda |

Linda..*hugs* I wish I had gotten to know her better, only knew her from her poems and replies...she had so much strength and courage and it most definately puts everything into perspective..I even checked out her website..woah..I'm reading all these responses and tributes..and I have this keen sense that she is with all of us comforting us..I wish she knew that she touched my heart too...but honestly now I think she knows..weird huh? *shuts up now* |

 (tears fall down my cheeks) Oh Marti, this is beautiful, sweet friend, her time did come truly and I know deep down she is only stronger than ever and always will be because she is free and we all will never forget her and her love will always shine! Like some others, I am new to this site, and never had the priviledge of meeting Lyra. But, by the poems written for her, she must have been a wonderful person with a beautiful soul, able to touch lives through words.... I am truly sorry to have never met her. |
