It moves
ever so slightly
thrusting
deeper still . . .

blood pooled
puddled and sticky

and I stare at it and don't even want to clean it up

These hands
bear the mark
creases
stained
wrinkled and red
bleeding
like Jesus did

Yet, when I hang my head in sorrow
there it lie
within my pale and shaking hands

MY DEMISE

"Without fear, there is no death"-Leo Tolstoy

We all wonder on our demise especially after a lifetime of learning about how mortal other people are.  This piece is very provoking which is good.  Nice write.

Powerful! It stirred something within. No end, without a new beginning though!

Yes, Sue, this is a very intense write.
In fact, it hurts.

Hope all is well, friend.....

My mind can't help but roll those words back and forth listening to what they say
to me
This is different but in a way that I can't help to want to read it again
COOL WRITE
