Missing You

What does one say when the day passes by
and the light has dimmed ever so...
When the smiles of the morning are no longer shared
with the few, but will rise to a glow
that will shine down upon us and lend us its light,
a touch that will guide evermore.
She granted us grace, and has left us a trace
of her warmth in her words, to adore.

Yes, Maureen, she has. You said this so
beautifully, and I'm sure that David
will appreciate it very much. Thank you
for sharing it with us.

I came on rather late last night and was dismayed at the news of Lyra's passing, although I know that she will no longer be suffering. I really didn't know what to say or express but David was by her side from the moment of their marriage and I just wanted him to know that it was a pleasure having met them both and having enjoyed their company as the last moments of my Tampa trip.
Thank you David for all you did.

Maureen

Blessings to David for his strength, courage, and ever-present love for our dear Lyra. He helped keep the twinkle in her eye during her "long days of night". She had once replied to me that that line from one of my poems, had great meaning for her...God bless her. Now all her days and nights are full of starlight!

Love & Light,
Linda
