A Friendship To Be Treasured
(In Memory of Lyra)
~ By Sue ~

Physically, she is no longer here
But, in my heart she will always be
For the friendship that we had
Always meant so much to me

I remember the talks we had on the phone
And the laughter we always did share
She was a friend I treasured so dear
Those memories I will hold with such care

I still remember that first call from her
We talked for quite awhile that night
With her words she touched my heart
Making my world alot more bright

She is a friend to be treasured
Her friendship can not be measured

3-18-03

Lyra was my dearest friend. Oh, how my heart hurts.

You expressed yourself so well-- even in your time of grieving...

Yes Sue...we are all hurting at the loss of our dear Lyra...
She made a big difference here at Passions and will be greatly missed.
But her strength, her dignity, her beautiful inspiring words shall love on forever.
~Hugs sweetie..I know how close you were~

Reading this and the other poems about and for Lyra, only magnifies the light she gifted us with at Passions.
We were all rewarded greatly by her presence.

I did not know your friend Lyra, but I can feel the love that you shared through your heartfelt poem.
Beautiful.
