Lyra still shines in heavenly sky
guiding us in darkening night
words of love and peace compel
to put these words to write

Today we are a little less
for a friend has passed away
gentle in her words of love
a poet in every way

Forever in poetry will she shine
each verse a precious tear
Shining on the cheek of Passion
Lyra the Chipmunk still lives here!

****
In memory of a poet, a friend and a lovely lady.

Thank you, Sharon....a very special lady...
a very heartfelt loss...
and I am glad our Passions family
gave her the joy she so rightfully deserved...
and came to pray for her...
through it all...

PdV,
Yup, a fine poet and even better friend. She will be missed. Nice tribute.

Lyra really loved this place and was very touched by the many prayers she received.  I'll dearly miss her, as will each of us.  Thank you for this, Sharon, beautifully rendered.

This really hurt to hear, I never got to know her and but for a few reply's early on I hardly spoke. But I did hear the comments and prayers from people a few months ago and was deeply moved by a woman who could inspire such emotions. I was pulling for her and now, reading this I am sad not only for her loss, but because i never had the chance to meet her. Rest well Lyra in the comfort of angels
