St. Paddy's day has been and gone
The green beer's all been drunk
But I'm still here and send you cheer
It really ain't no bunk

It's not the day that binds us close
but friends like oaken trunk
So strong and true that care for you
At least that's what I thunk.

Ah such a cute write there laddie!
This Colleen spared herself the headache
and stuck to cranberry juice yesterday.
(Didn't even try to colour it green!)
Hope your St. Paddy's Day was a great one!
Erin Go Bragh!
You made these Irish eyes smile today.

(chuckling).. well I always wanted to use "thunk" in a poem... but I was thinking along the lines of a sound... this way, however..I had to smile...

nicely done..and thanks for the grin..
