I woke up today and looked out the window,
A beautiful sunny sky,
The smell of coffee fills the kitchen,

~ I can't believe you left this ~

I stepped outside and felt the sun embrase me,
A butterfly floats above the mailbox,

~ How could you leave this ~

The dog is running around the yard chasing squirells again,
The neighbors kids are playing hide and seek,

~ You're missing out on so much ~

I made dinner and sat on the porch swing but it just didn't feel right,
The sun is setting but it's not as pretty tonight,

~ How coul you give up on me ~

There's nothing on T.V so I head off to bed,
But I feel so lost in here,
It's to empty...to quiet...to lonely,

~ We only have one chance here, why did you have to cut yours so short ~

Tomorrow I will wake up to another beautiful day,
Another beautiful day you are going to miss out on,

~ Was it worth it? ~
