Through linen walls, enveloped by these sheer thin wraps
So cordially invited to take part within the winsome taps
As if in spell of undeclared, a pure white fever beads the calls
And hallowed whispers travel on in echo down the velvet halls

A long and lonely string to flounder on in endless paper trails
And tattered strings unraveling through windblown silken sails
As somehow sent to say the words that linger heavy in the heart
And through the open window flies upon the wind in sweet depart

But I cannot forget or exorcise the lost from burrowed winter rest
Instead the gloss of disbelief in flames, flashed white on cinder breast
Through linen walls, and churning dreams by feel to see instead
As listened with the open heart, until the last of love is said

This read like a song.  Love the title.

(sad sigh) It can be saddening to hear last taps of toe shoes on the floor of a ballroom, there is just something so comely about hearing at least some noise on a balustrade of ones heart and when all you hear is the dress sweeping across the floor to the wind outside, it can be heartaching! (big hugggsssssss) This is powerful, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Kathleen, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

So delicate and fragile the way your words grace the page and touch my heart.

They are a treasure to come across!
(but surely you must know that already)
