A Leaf

Whirling, twirling, swirling down
A leaf has turned from green to brown.
Changing in a dress of skin.
Floats to ground in dance and spin.

In this moments sail of grace.
A world of living ends its place.
Softly slipping to the earth.
To feed the soil another birth

It stays the ground in interplay.
To mulch the earth and fade away
And in its sigh and in its lie
Will live again and will not die.

Full circle it has turned its end.
Slipped its ghost around the bend.
And spirited its life in spew.
Within the rue within the dew

There is no sweeter play of fife.
Then see the day of newborn life.

I tried to write a poem about this once. I got it started great, I think I must have got sidetracked, it ended up horrible and I tore it up lol
I still think theres got to be something besides those dreams! This is great!

As a rule I would answer each of you, but I
think I have a touch of sciatica and have
allot of pain in my back when I walk, so I won't be at the computer as much as I'd like. Thank you all so much. Sy

only you could wrap compost in cadence and make it SOOOOO COOL

Take care of that back Sy-babers...tell Randy to do your chores and you sit with your feet up

I can see Im gonna have to send more TLC.

Paul,
Thank you my friend I appreciate.

JM,
TLC always helps, it's good with tea,
You would laugh to see me singing as I
walk with my two canes. It goes something
like oooo ow ouch pause, ooo ow ouch, very
limited lyrics. It's a first for me, but
there is always a first.
Take care. OOOO OW OUCH WWRS

Hey, I'm just getting the hang of how to reply to people, so don't mind me. That was a really nice poem, I like concepts concerning the Circle of Life, Reincarnation and things like it. I hope to see more of your work.

This is absolutely lovely~
It has such a gentle lilting sing-song to it~

Take care of that back ... goodness knows I 'know' what that's like~
