Desire is not the hunger of
the flame as it feeds to
keep itself alive -

Nor is it the wood that falls
to feed this hunger.

It is the fire itself that burns
to know the way of heat
and the wonders of its
own dancing flames.

It is the ash that remains...smoldering
to the memory of this once great
burning.

It is the wind that stirs
the embers to life -

And to seek this burning
once more.

*sigh*  no wonder I am so hypnotized when watching a fire... there is so much going on to see.
This really flows so well, with a quiet undertone to the whole piece, which contrasts nicely with the image of dancing, burning flames.

the only man worth your tears will never make you cry

(smiles) Oh Eric, this is so very true, sweet friend, and embers can never die as long as there is light, which He provides for us all and thus must be flame! (big hugggsssss) God Bless You, sweet friend, this is marvelous, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Eric, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton
