and then there was You
and You were everything
but everything is nothing
and i got tired and gave up
but i know that's no excuse
cause You pulled through to the end
...for me
and i don't understand
cause i bet You look at me
and You wonder why You had to die
why You had to give it all
and i know that people say
You love each and everyone
but i don't know how You can love me
because each day i crucify You
over and over and over again
and i'm getting damn tired of it
but it's all that i've come to know
cause everything that i've figured out
i've learnt is a lie
could it be that i am just scared?
cause You're the only reason i still breathe
take that away and i don't know what i'll do
cause i know sorry won't fix it this time
i've got more than that to give, i know
but the flame is gone
the seed was sown on bad ground
not only have i let You down
but i've let down my friends as well
and i can't look them in the eyes anymore
cause they see right through me
i don't know what to do
i'm lost.....
