Anger spurred

The road turned rough;
the man refused
to walk it.
He pushed away
any helping hand
and upon the beast
he leaped.
Horned and ugly
he rode it.
Rage ravaged wanton
destruction;
he held the reigns
but the beast knew
who was the
master.

This packs a powerful punch, lady... with a trailing of sorrow that so many react to adversity with anger against the innocents instead of battle against the true foe.

Wow... that is an amazing write.  Incredible power- and, oh, what a dramatic, profound ending to an amazingly profound poem!  Just... wow.  Beyond words.

Thank you!!!

I think I know a situation like this.. *shakes her head to get the thought out of there*
this is powerful and 'felt'. I like it alot.
