Hello all! This is the poem I chose my name for. Lol. I'll leave you wondering as too why, in the spirit of the poem. And before anyone asks, yes, it -was- meant to be esoteric in this manner. DarkSide Blues. One day, I walked, upon a man, who's eyes cast gentle hues, Blue and grey, a humble sway, he spoke of much to lose, In these orbs, of life, were pain, and I knew how much he'd lost, But at night, while we all sleep, he fights, to pay the cost, No job was ever easy, when you're living such a life, No price was ever low, and most prices bare a knife, So there he is, a simple man, with many paths to choose, A simple man, with gentle eyes, who has the DarkSide Blues. |
