You play the fife--
I'll tap a drum
foot-flower bells
on my feet keeping time
gypsy dance madness
kisses of wine
watch my hand weave
on backdrop of sky
spin-art of laughter
and patience of saint
sand grains of time
I use for my paint...
I will weep myrrh
as this passion burns
frankincense gold
of sun's joy return.

Keep ye the silver--
today I am free.
Rest ye now weary
as I wash your feet.
Allow me the favor
to tend to your need--
for something in you
sparked mem'ry of me.

You know, there is something magical in each and every one of your writings. I enjoy them all so much. Chris

Yes, indeed, the spark,
the flame, and
the bar...

This is beautiful and have I ever told you that everytime I read something as beautiful and enchanting as this...you remind me of Stevie Nicks, or is it that she reminds me of you? (ok yo can laugh now) But I am serious. I hope that doesnt offend you gorgeous, it's meant as a compliment.

hugs and love

Maree.

smile...yes, I have been told that before...tho I can't recall who said it. But I have also been called Janis Joplin, and I was only ten years old at the time!
