~*~ Distant drums in primal beating, Rousing passions of long ago, Stirrings from forgotten history, Haunting dreams of sling and bow. In dark of night, my soul is restless, Memories lost, roll in revue, The rising haze of misty veils, Where lives, once lived, stream through. In dark of night, my soul is restless, Memories lost, roll in revue, The rising haze of misty veils, Where lives, once lived, stream through. and here I had to carry on and write a big old long poem about it.... You're in my mind tonight, and summed up the same thoughts I was having. This was so peaceful and pleasing to read. Thank you for lifting my spirits EA~ |

And my sister just dismissed my interest as me "having this thing for drummers." LOL I like this very much, EA... there is something so very stirring and special about listening to drums that speak a message... even if you don't understand, you feel. *S* |
