Hear the tinkling of the coins
Swaying from above my loins
Giving promise most entrancing
As I sway in belly dancing

Belly dancing, belly dancing
With hypnotic movement
Belly dancing, belly dancing
Full bodied for improvement

See the sparkle - hear the ping
Of those cymbals on my ring
See the veils that are romancing
all your senses  - belly dancing

Belly dancing, belly dancing
With hypnotic movement
Belly dancing, belly dancing
Full bodied for improvement

I have learned ? am in the union
With this shimmering communion
See the steps that I am prancing
Belly dancing, belly dancing

Belly dancing, belly dancing
With hypnotic movement
Belly dancing, belly dancing
Full bodied for improvement

Hear the bells that jingle soft
As your dreams are borne aloft
See the write of hist'ry glancing
While I shimmy belly dancing

Belly dancing, belly dancing
With hypnotic movement
Belly dancing, belly dancing
Full bodied for improvement

Feast upon the wobbling  trick
In bright array for soul food picnic
Feel the dearth of hunger lancing
Sated, by my belly dancing

Belly dancing, belly dancing
With hypnotic movement
Belly dancing, belly dancing
Full bodied for improvement

Brother, between your fantastic rhyme and hearing all those coins in motion, I would definitely say you got the rhythm down pat that is for sure.  This was pretty spectacular Kethry.  A rather cool poem read aloud almost a song (is it?)

Mysteria,
it's a song without music. Thanks for stopping by.

Belly dancing is an art, indeed,
and not for the clumsy, or klutzy,
believe me...

Good write, Keth!

Hi, Keth, I love it! Rhythmic and hypnotic-like the best belly-dancing. It's something I could never do, as you know, but I admire it.

(smiles) Yay!!! Oh my gosh...I LOVE BELLY DANCING!!! I got to see Shakira do so much of it in concert when I saw her last January, she is very good! (kiss on cheek) If you'd like to read my poem Tarbiah in Reflections, it has all that belly-dancing spirit in it, yay, we all love you so much, I love this! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Kethry, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

This is a delight, Kethry. *S* From the clinking sounds of bells to the soft sounds of the veils... you've painted a vivid picture. Excellent work! *S*
