after the glow of discovery
slightly dimmed,
he marveled

what a fortunate temple!
his turn to praise had come
and he did not stop
looking up in wonder

I walked into a marvelous cathedral in New Orleans some years ago...it takes a knack to look up so long without getting a crink in one's neck...if you relax, you can look all day!
