I remember the first day you told me you loved me.
My heart beat fast knowing you'd just changed me.
I said it back to you very fast,
But now that's in the past.

You made my life complete.
My heart always skipped a beat
When I opened my heart to you.
You walked away before I knew.

Now my heart feels nothing but pain,
And now I'm crying in the rain.
I think all about the times we shared,
Wondering if you even cared.

My mind tells me to forget you.
How can I, when I still love you?
My heart tells me to move on,
But how can I, when my love is gone?

Sometimes Love is like awkward poetry, the words may not be just right
but when love comes freely from the heart the message sings!

Our heart tells us to move on when it tires of the pain...it notices mistakes before we do...the heart knows it will not always work out...James
