In Your Poetic Mind

0 posted 2003-03-09 03:32 AM

That  I had fallen
    silhouette beneath the moon
silence broken
        echo’s of you
between light, & darkness;
tranquility
naked

           the easel
colors                 canvas

Picasso        ishaunting
     my dreams;

Midnight writes            poetry

I wear     your     language,
     words from  heart
slowly        like November rain
without you
lost

     love   bending rivers

empty

Take me where the tides start
So I can pull you into me

Lauren,

I like this a great deal.

I especially  like the image of:

"Picasso is haunting my dreams"

Aching in this one...November is indeed a chilling month, and even when Picasso imagery fragments me, I still go back for more.

"Midnight writes poetry" and time after time, Lauren writes me mothy heart.
And I am ever grateful to be able to read her lovely, exquisite, heart on sleeve poetry. Perfect me sweet butterfly sister.

and I am supposed to say something meaningful here... (laughing)... how do I say anything about lines like those...except to trot out the usual lines of exceptional...and well done??

If I ever learn to write poetry...I want it indeed to be like this.... moving...

(sigh) Oh Lauren, this is so very beautiful, sweet friend, I wish for the beauty of love to always shine in your heart and for the leaves to always drip with honey in the fall and be green with birds chirping all the rest of the year, yay! (kiss on cheek) This is wonderful, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Lauren, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

Rivers of Midnight writes do blend,
    running like water colors ...
        tears of many seasons.

       Truly a heartfelt write.

Both very beautiful and sad, my friend.  Hugs to you.

The stars will shine when I am gone,
the earth will turn on as before,
the gulls, still race along the shore,
the morning star, still kiss the dawn

My favorite part was the bend in the river,
not to mention the emptiness that leaves a heart drained.

You always write so nice Lauren~

Lauren, I hope you don't mind me giving this a bump, because I consider it some of your best writing and want more readers to have a chance of seeing the beauty of your pen.  Hugs and love, dear friend.
