He dwelt within the shadows
A lonely broken soul.
'Till once did love touch his heart
And ease the ruthless cold.

Long-Lasting life found in her eyes
What wasn't now has been.
Her name upon his lips as wine,
Her elegant Miss Vicky Lynn.

Her warmth surpass' the sun itself,
Her eyes the stars defeat.
Her voice it makes the Angels sing,
Her smile his heart does greet.

A flower nix, a rose is shocking,
in the presence of his affection.

A tender kiss which leaves pure bliss,
His life a resurrection.

Albert,
I don't think I need to say it for you to know it, but I love this, as I always love your work! Your words are beautiful and they always seem to lift my spirits. I can't wait to read more...As always!
Hugs,
KoKo

Albert~
I have to admit that I clicked on this one because
Vicky Lynn is MY name...LOL. Same spelling and everything.
However...I'm replying because the poem is beautiful,
and I enjoyed the read.
Nicely done.

Vicky Lynn is such a pretty name. Is this about your girlfriend or wife? It's very nicely done!
