A mass of land between two oceans

"I am Not a Pebble"

frozen clandestine puddle
topped showing shards of

Stepping high with perfumed
streetwalkers The Poet Supreme

Composes b'attitudes with
slivers of cloudy iceglass

"Despair the artist a pebble
Find him on the Wandering Rocks"

clams clackling softly along the sea bed
with colors of soiled banners

Moon gravity pulls the waves
begging the ignorant

shells closer to tranquility

"I should have been a pair of ragged claws/ Scuttling over the floors of silent seas"-T.S. Eliot

Interesting imagery here, makes me want to pick up a clam shell and ask it a question or two, as I step past quiet pebbles.
