the world outside
still veiled in black
of mourning (morning)
even the sun knows better
than to rise this early

the weight of
another senseless day
pins me to bed
fetal
under blanket
warmth

I know
better than
to fight this feel
that pierces
the heart of

I know
better than
to think this way
but old habits
die hard

when hope doesn't live at all

Raph - *pang* that was my chest - my heart just dropped - every day is senseless - get out of that bed and splash in the puddles - I did - it made all the difference in the world - for today anyhow - as always - amazing xxoo

Shoot, I should have responded to
this poem when I first got up...
but I would have ruined a good
melancholy...

I enjoy your writing, Raph...
don't stop, whatever your mood!

(big hugggsssssss) Oh Raphael, I too know this weighing feeling, sweet friend, it is not pleasant and I hope now you have found this hope and have the courage and smile to rise out of that bed without hesitation! (sigh) This is powerful, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Raphael, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

... it depends on when you went to sleep! You see, to get up, IS A HAPPY THING! ... but let's give it an hour or two more, so that HOPE can keep the pace.
Very well written.
Definitivamente molto piacevole, ci riconosciamo tutti!

I know this poem like I know the walls of my own crypt that I creep into at that hour...

even in gloom, you manage to make me smile.

Loved this Raph.

Another gripping vignette from one of our best. Glad I borrowed a computer for a bit, and dropped into PIP...
