                         Whispering Tone

yes I
have touched
the darkness
          and I
          have seen
          the light
and I
have been
all alone
          and risk
          to love
          with fright
tasted salty
rain drops
in a
rainbows confuse
          but if
          I never
          reach out
          then still,
          I lose
for you
could be
the sweet
whispering tone
          on this
          crooked road
          that brings
          me home

There is always such a delicate, tender, sweetness to your words.
