Forgiveness

I cannot beg forgiveness for
All the flotsam on the shore
It rides the waves in giant throw
And crashes down in garbage snow.

An avalanche of villainy
An anabranch of gluttony
Spiced with peppers arrogance.
Spread on breads extravagance.

It’s in the purse of human vile
In an agony of style
And shows its view of hydras head
Until it stops and is quite dead

I cannot beg forgiveness for
The nature of my human floor
Born into survival mode
I live and die within its code.

There is no way to heavens goal.
Except through symbol like my soul.

Good morning, Mr. T.!

Your mode is just fine with me! It has enabled you to not only survive, but to thrive!---and from my perspective, your "floor" is impeccably clean!

Warm morning hugs,
EA

Me thinks you'll be given a humanities pardon for all your humilities rhymes divine!!
Could one poem be any coooooooler????
Just look at all the symbolism and imagery in this oh so witty and wise write.

Only you could come up with "garbage snow" and "purse of vile"
and use "hydras head" in such a clever way

and this verse....OH YES THIS VERSE ...

An avalanche of villainy
An anabranch of gluttony
Spiced with peppers arrogance.
Spread on breads extravagance.

makes me moth giddy!! just look at the vocabulary, the word play..the internal rhymes..the symbolism and metaphor...that verse is COOLER than I will ever have words for!!! Ahhhh to walk barefoot in your poetic mind would be coolness defined

YOU ROCK and it rolls me. *L*

(sigh) Forgiveness MUST always, always, always begin with yourself, there is no other way and if one can do that, one will find true comfort and achieve that ultimate goal bestowed upon us all which some take longer to touch than others! (big hugggssssss) I love this, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Seymour, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

OK, I forgive you! LOL, though I haven't any idea what it is YOU might have done to add to the stinky flotsam and jetsom.

Seymour, I can't figure out how a gentleman such as yourself would have to ask forgiveness for anything. You are so sweet and nice. I'll bet you don't ever even raise your voice to anyone. Sometimes I do before I even think of it. My Dad says that at times I put my mouth in to action before I put my brain to work. Maybe one day I can be more like you seem to be......
