bells
of sleigh
jangle jingle
in my time
bells
of ringing
cresting
to a river's break
recorder
marks silver
of the waves
come dancing
breaking leaves
of dollar bills
taunting me
yes taunting me
into a deeper nod
of some other understand...

breath
solidified in air
the only time
that you'll see warmth
in proof---
watch the fog
I breathe of you.
dancing fingers in despair.

come here closer
feel my sway
say it's not so
anyway
wrap the scarves
that bind my hips
and tie them
to you
on the wrist---
oh I can make you dance.

A tiny bell upon my toe
foot-flowers dancing
in meadow
there is buzz of life in me...
mud splays patterns
on my feet
stomping
in a childish glee--
watch the fog?
I breathe of you.
in absurdity

come dancing
I will wait for you.

I am sure he will fill up your dance card  pretty fast once he reads this bit of whimsy!

Have a glorious day dancing with him and to the delightful beat of your own drum...

I love this. Jeff Beck had a song called "Come Dancing". I can't remember if it was just an instrumental or not, but I think it was. The title of this reminded me of that. Man, I'm old!

And this is just grand!

Yah... I know I'm redundant. I loved it.
