A Desire To Try

On an evening not too long ago
a thought entered my mind
at a precise moment in time.
I thought that I felt love.
This was not the first time
I thought along these lines.
But this time seemed to be
different from the other times.
It felt more possible.
It felt more comfortable.
As if I had found a long lost friend.
I will not pretend too know
that these feelings will meet
the demands that love requires.
I do not know if these feelings
will produce the results that I desire.
I can only hope and pray that the woman
I feel these feelings for shares my
thoughts and that she possesses
similar desires such as I.
For I want to pursue these thoughts
and feelings if she shares
a desire to try.

I think it must be two desires to try that makes it work...makes love.  I think you'll find it :-)

Good luck....

That's the kind of feeling that grow into love easily. I hope the best. And I like the poem.
