Saluting with misty eyes

Once in a dream
Floating high, drifting ever onward
I saw the battle rage below
Armies clashing, rushing ever onward
Into the killing zone

Behind the hate
Battlefield, flags fly ever onward
I saw the young man's blood flow
lady Valkarie, flying ever onward
To take the faithful home

The killing's done
Dying screams, floating ever onward
The broken bodies lie in death
Kings will call the armies ever onward
To go and fight again

This is a harder one to interpret, hummm although the clip of final fnatasy, where shes in the dream and the soldiers are running into battle with her in the middle, accept they all died, reminiscent of knights I think ahh many thoughts many questions. Was this written with anyone in mind? Im still trying to grasp it ahh i like it its a thinker ( for me anyway)

No, no one in particular... just a bit of medieval fantasy... Actually, it is very losely based on a song by Styx called "Castle Walls"
