Listening to every heart

To Hear The Call

Single seasons come, yet cycles remain
hearken still winds, heed lonely call's refrain
streaming through like silver in gold dusk’s light
sliver of shivers, protecting this night

Blanket frost of white, coverlet of earth
passions lay low below, imminent birth
receive all what is, yet fight all to live
accept when to take, and when then to give

Snow geese on winged way, breaking sky with ease,
seeking summer, finds winter no release
eyes his lifelong mate, side by side in blue
faith filling cycles, mating of the true

Hear the call, tears fill of pellucid peace
Giving all, garner precious, sweet release

The calls of the wild are far better cries than the ones to arm!

This was a graceful and gentle write.

Warm morning hugs,
