Today, right now, I race inside,
my heart pounding
vibrating thoughts
placing fear in front of me.

The confidence lost,
scare tactics on the rise,
news becoming
unbearable to hear.

Anxiety builds,
eyes hold back tears,
knowing that it will all become worse
before it gets better.

If only it was one step to climb
instead of so many.
If only step by step I could erase
the fears that are invading me tonight.

No phone calls, no visitors in want.
Sitting alone, waiting for the day to pass,
hoping tomorrow the shadows will stay hidden,
allowing my heart to slow its beat
and my thoughts to unwind
and see the light of morning.

I wait for the day, the one
that returns me to myself,
when I was proud and happy
and could function without aid.
Is that really too much to ask?

M

*sorry I am just having an anxiety attack*

feelings for you  heres my next post just for you>

New feelings of romance makes our hearts dance.

We have visions of never losing the rhythm of dance

At the end our hearts cry for romance.

Have we lost the rhythm or forgot the steps to the dance.

Thanks and C, I am sort of glued here right now  to this chair and can't move...hard to explain. I probably should have not listened to the news a bit ago. I was doing fine until they  brought up about the President and war and the other countries still wanting to wait...It's funny but I sort of feel guilty almost like my friends hate me...as if I am the U.S. and the other countries are my friends who are going against me.
and then listening to the fact of gas prices going up even more if there is a war and the price of home heating. My gas bill was over $500.00 for 2 months and I never even felt warm, and that has nothing to do with the electric bills...
Another snow storm to hit tonight. I just got finished shoveling what was left from 16 days ago...thought that use of my own energy and the sunshine outside would help. So I sat down here for a moment ... and now I can't move.

I don't think it is too much to ask at all my friends. Hugs!

hmmm...I've felt that way about many different things myself lately, but the fear passes.  When you look far into the future, this will all be a memory.  Meanwhile, talking to people you trust and love helps considerably.

HUGGLES :-)

I agree, not too much to ask. It appears a painful write, but necessary. I hope all is well with you.

Never been prone to much anxiety myself but for a minute there you made me feel something of what it must be like. Made me want to give you a hug until it passed...
