Saluting with misty eyes

0 posted 2003-03-05 12:29 PM

The lights are low and the music's slow
And you're here with me
We're alone in a crowded bar
Surrounded by people, we are both far away
Lost in our togetherness
Together all alone

As the music's swirling magic starts
To close around us
We lose all consciousness of thought
The rhythm of your body, I get lost in you
Our hearts become as one
As one as we are two

i went out last night for a drink for the first time since coming home from the us and ahh, i noticed something just now with your words....being drunk is very much alike to the feeling of love. And finding the one who you know you'll spend the rest of your life with...well thats alcoholism and ahh so well put was your poem, something in the first verse caught me, like a tripwire i guess. Very nice; I enjoyed the romance of it.

Lovely. What a nice dance!

Private dances are always the best ones, and this is lovely.  Very well done Ringo.

Hi Brad

I really loved this one and the imagery was wonderful.

"Love - bittersweet,
irrepressible -
loosens the limbs
and I tremble"

I'm anchored in you
