A mass of land between two oceans

The Beginning of a Lord

Polished tips perform equations
while Winter peers into
and no fan brims
the classe's duration

Projectori projects
the languid figures
A smiling screen obliges
with the lightness it reflects

Somewhere, Shantih is subject to lecture

Solutions to equations
are values of variables
that result in true equations

Whatever answers we reach
it cannot be zero
know the willows growing from desks

Stephano can only postulate
what was before he was
in terms to know the grass
before it became green

He barks violently
with the excessive confidence of an empty flask

He stands triumphantly
upon the swampy sciences he dug with hands bare

He chews earth
to spit dust and mud on his subjects

He wags a talentless finger
and belches a Goethan monologue

He will fight a war
blind rage to capture an abandoned island

Hail King Stephano for a
heroe's burial for a bottle
Desperate fleas and fools for vice roy
Stephano is now
He comes fast from the classroom

First of all, hello. I am tremendously excited to be posting poems for critiques and the such.  Just a quick note for this one though.  The poem is based somewhat on "The Tempest" and the troupe of Stephano, Trinculo, and Caliban.

Hi TaureauRouge,

I have not read the work you spoke about, but your poetry was wonderful in it's use of wording and welcome to Passions, hope to see much more of your writing.
