on the open road with the wind blowing in my hair

"from the silence"

There was a silence
As I walked through the half paved woods
And I thought of you
The romance long gone
And I wondered
Silently of course
What happens to the unanswered prayers?
Do they drift off into the never-ending abyss
Of their own unhappiness?
Or do they all collect and make a person about you?

There was a noise
and I thought of you
Nothing good of course

Where do the dreams long forgotten travel
Once put into the ever expanding universe of despair
Maybe they landed in your back pocket
And walked off long ago

This is really beautiful!
I could feel the heartbeat and pain in this post. That ending is superbly written.

Welcome to Passions. I do hope you continue to post your work, I for one will look out for it. Also, make sure to check your e-mail for a special surprise.

Very, very well done. It spoke louder in it's quiet tones than most do in their loudest voice.

I feel this way often and ask myself questions of the heart. Sad to say the answers are never there for me.

Nice post
