If I should climb up to the cliff
and fling myself into the gulf

below me, clouds like clabbered cream,

if I should taste the wind
that streams past eagle arms
and shout triumphant

from a throat no longer tight,

if I should tumble down
from endless height
and lose my way
in cotton mist

and never reach the ground,

could I then find the sky?

hmm.. it would certainly be beautiful.. oh you just described it so wonderfully. But I don't know after so much calling out I'd think the throat would tighten again... too much of anything is painful.
I love this.

(smiles) Oh Nancy, that would truly be wonderful if we could just fly like that and fall into the sky, I think every once in a while we must feel as though we are achieving this liftoff! (big hugggssssss) This is wonderful, sweet friend, you have my vote, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Nancy, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Interesting write. Reminds what I've heard some achieve through meditation. I liked the sense of freedom some of the imagery presented. Soaring, seems wonderful.

Alyssa, thank you. The sky is beautiful, and the clouds draw me.

Martin, I love the wind, the feel of it against me.

Noah, you are always so kind. I'm glad you liked this one.

garysgirl, I'm pleased that you liked it.

James,

Pat, I'd love to soar, wouldn't you? I could envy birds.

Enchantress, thank you so much!

Seymour, you make me grin!

Ceinwein, I would love to fly, to soar, to live in the wind.

Keth, OK, you answered the question. I guess that's why I don't do it. Sigh. Much too practical.

Nan, I love the 'flow' of this. I too felt like I was floating down on the wind. Beautifully done!

Marge! Yes, I would LOVE to dive into the Florida gulf. I still think of that weekend-and think how I'd like a replay.

Gentle Spirit, How kind of you. I'm glad you liked it.
