Spring

Gentle soothing rain
Replenishing Mother Earth
A new seed gives birth

succinctly said, yet vivid, the last line is definitely spring as are all, but the "new seed," yep that's the epitome!

Whether on the shoal or on the shore,
I'll seek the lighthouse evermore.

Amature Bravo! In college hehehe - I couldnt write haiku for anything - my words are oftentimes quite depressing  - my teacher said to me, "Haiku is meant to be happy Sue - not sad."  Hehehe - takes a gift to do this and you have done it quite well xxoo

Nice haiku! I love this form. The spring imagery you've gifted us is refreshing.
