In the darkness and emptiness of my world
The sound of your voice whispers in the wind
Oh, that sweet sound of my name
Let the wind caress my cheek
Let the moonlight kiss my lips the way you did

Happiness has escaped me
Into the neglected emptiness of spaces
Oh, I wish my heart could forget those words
Let the days pass without sunlight
Let the seconds pass like hours, and days like decades

The skies filled with stars
They don’t shine, instead they weep then say goodbye
Oh, let the moonlight leave without apologies
Let the warmth escape my withered body
Let my skin vaporize into the air, with everything else

Feeling naked and cold without you
As if there is no one else for me
Oh, the vastness of this place, so cold
Let the cold leave my lungs as I scream for you
Let the darkness fill my eyes into the light…. because of you

Yes I liked the imagery. It gets my vote.

Cold hands means a warm heart
